Mr. Francis Pelekamoyo was elected in 2006 to OUL board. He currently is the board chair for Opportunity's microfinance banks in Ghana, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa and Uganda. He also is a member of the board in Tanzania and Kenya. He has extensive commercial banking and microfinance experience and holds an M.A. in Economics from Yale University. Francis is former governor of Malawi's central reserve bank. |

Mr. Kenneth M. Wathome was elected to OUL board in 2000. Mr. Wathome is the Director and a principle partner of Ngotho Wathome Co.Lt, a valuers and estates agents company in Nairobi, Kenya. He is also the Chairman, Board of Directors of Faulu Kenya Limited, a sister company of Opportunity Bank Ltd. Mr. Wathome holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Land Economics from Nairobi University. He is the Executive Chairman of NW Realite Limited, a Registered Valuers, Real Estate and Property Services Company and the Chairman of the Board of Realtors Africa; an Internet based Real Estate Company. He also sits on the international board of Food for the Hungry International. |

Ms. Sarah Kiwanuka was elected to OUL board in 2003, is Finance and Administration Officer, International Centre for tropical agriculture. Ms. Kiwanuka served for four years as the Examiner of Accounts for the Office of the Auditor General, as well as 5 years as an Accountant for World Vision. She served as Account / Administrator of AMREF for 8 years and as Finance & Administration Officer of International Centre for Tropical Agriculture for 4 years. Ms. Kiwanuka holds an ICSA (UK) and a CPA (Kenya). |

Mr. Phillip Karugaba was elected to OUL board in 2009. Mr.Karugaba is a Partner in "MMAKS Advocates" a law firm where he specializes in corporate and commercial law. He has over 15 years experience in both the public and private sector, having worked as in-house Counsel for the Privatization Unit of the Ministry of Finance of Uganda and in private practice. He is ranked as a leading lawyer by Chambers Global Guide of London. He holds a 1st Class Honors Bachelor's of Laws degree of Makerere University. Mr. Karugaba is also a graduate of Cambridge University, UK. |

Mr. Keith Flintham, who qualified in the UK as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB), is an international banker with extensive experience in a wide range of disciplines in the corporate, retail and private banking sectors. Immediately prior to taking early retirement from National Westminster Bank of the UK, after a career spanning thirty years, Mr. Flintham was Chief Operating Officer and a General Manager at National Westminster Bank's operation in Greece. Upon joining Opportunity International in 2001, he initially served as the founding Chief Executive Officer of Opportunity Bank Ltd, Montenegro where he served until mid-2006. Upon completing his assignment in Montenegro, Mr. Flintham became Managing Director, Eastern Europe for Opportunity International, in which role he acts as Chairman and a Member of the Supervisory Board of the Opportunity Banks and Microfinance entities in the region. |
